Let's just say, you were aware of an upcoming birthdate...

What sort of thing do you think would be best to surprise someone with for such an occasion? I'm making a list.

Though I suspect they might not mind more than one, you are correct on that. There would definitely be a limit, but they'd probably be fine with a small number...

Knowing as little as I do about the person and the gift, most of this will be up to your discretion, but it sounds as if you might have a good place to start. If that won't work, perhaps a gift of food or some kind, if you weren't already considering that? I haven't known many to turn down a favorite treat or a rare fruit they like.
