Does anyone else find it ridiculous that people younger than an arbitrary age are forced into communal living, at the mercy of roommates who may or may not have lost their minds, while the rest of you get your own rooms?

I've been legally emancipated for years on my world, and I'm definitely above the age of majority by now, yet I'm stuck with a dorm-mate building trash piles in our room. Let me write that again and underline it for emphasis. Trash. Piles.

I've blasted away as many as I can find, but they always come back. Yes, I've always wanted to live in a pigsty.

That and if you ever need a break, I mean. I have my own room, there's always the sleeping bag on the floor thing. Do they care where you sleep, so long as you don't skip class?

I was going to take mild offense at 'the rest of you'--but we do indeed seem to have more adult students this particular influx. Interesting. The last time I was here, I feel Sunderlings tended to trend younger.

Very sorry about your messy roommate situation, however. Have you considered that your roommate may have magically rigged them to return when you 'blast' them away? Or that perhaps learning to live with another person is part of the lesson plan here?

I've noted the same. Maybe this would be more bearable if there were other students without the loose screws here.

I've worked that possibility into my spells, but I specialize in mathematical deconstruction. Unfortunately, so does he.

There's no tactful way to put this... but if my roommate took to making the place unlivable he'd either be finding himself a new roommate or begin living his life as a newt trapped in a glass jar.
