There's lots of things to do at the beach! You can go swimming, make sand castles, sunbath, look for hermit crabs or shark teeth, go snorkling to see the underwater creatures...

Sand castles? How do you make them?

There are actually a lot of different ways to make them. The easiest way is just using sand and some water to make as best a castle as you can.

That does sound fun. I'll definitely have to make him try it with me.

Hendrik. He's going because I am of course, but if I don't make him have fun, he'll just stand there and glower at everyone. So I'm making a list of fun things for him to do while we're there.

He likes sparring.

I actually don't know if he has any real hobbies. I know I tried to tell him he should try bala-inlota sometime, but he insisted that he didn't have time for hobbies.

I see. That's kind of sad. If he doesn't have time for hobbies, what does he do for fun?

I don't know. He's sworn himself to me, so whenever I'm near him, he's always very serious.

Sworn himself? Like a knight?

Yes. He is a knight. I'm not sure they teach them how to have fun as part of their training.
