Looking for Group: Clearly slice of life RP is gathering XP rather slowly. As I need to level up more rapidly so as to unlock more of my arcane prowess as swiftly as is feasibly possible, I am reluctantly seeking to put together an adventuring party with the express purpose of finding some missions to fulfil in order to earn EXP and treasure. 

The party would need one or more of each of the following roles:
Some sort of Melee fighter class, also known as a meatshield. Please supply your own weapon.
Some form of divine caster with a focus on healing spells.
Someone in a distance fighter class, again please provide your own weapons.
A rogue if possible who has ranks in search, spot, and disarm traps.

Paladins, evil aligned halflings, evil opposites, demons, liches, goblins, Necromancers, and anyone who has ever been associated with the Linear Guild or Azure City need not apply.

My name is Kazuma Satou, and I would be interested in your rouge and/or long distance fighter role(s), for the right price. As an Adventurer class... adventurer, I have the ability to learn skills from any other class. I've filled in for both prior mentioned roles in my previous party with rouge skills such as enemy detection, lurk/sneak, sense trap, and disarm trap, and with archer skill such as farsight and snipe. Additionally, I knew, and have since relearned, a small repertoire of basic elemental spells that I can use to support, distract, or disrupt. And finally, I have knowledge of a location that would be perfect place to explore for experience and possibly treasure.

"Oh, are we talking in person now? Chaotic... neutral, I guess? Alignments aren't really referenced much back in my world... I was level 15 before I got here, but I was warped here or whatever in the middle of basically a boss fight, and my adventurer's card with my stats and level only half works now in this world, and with losing and having to relearn magic spells, it's sorta hard to say what level I am now..."

"We can meet physically. Fifteen is impressive. And you are multiclassed you said? Chaotic Neutral suits well." [But not as party leader. Still level 15 is hard to hit in D&D, most campaigns don't last that long.] "Good. Soon we shall have a party built."

"Oh, so we aren't talking in person then. I'm still getting a hang of this message board spell stuff, I guess. Just give me a time and a place then, for our meet and greet, and/or when the party is ready to go. We have to discuss payment/loot division at some point too."

The former has a shield already, and the latter is a big ass robot with a gun for an arm. As for the divine caster, I dunno, go ask around the Sundered from house Eiather?"

I believe there has been an error. My primary function is to keep people safe. Although causing harm to opponents is a necessary component of this function, it is not the main component.

I do not understand this terminology, but it is my duty to protect others. However, my role in doing so is as a protector, not as ranged damage. My fusion cannon is not powerful, but can maintain a high-volume output for several seconds, so I am better at suppressing fire and maintaining a position than swiftly eliminating an opponent.

As has been pointed out, I am a sizable armored target who serves as a target, physically interposing myself between others and danger if necessary. My database indicated 'tank' is an accurate description of these events, though I am confused as to how that term has become common among those without the technological advancement necessary to have developed the combat vehicles from which the name is derived.
