We've had that golem go nuts, and apparently there's a murderous teacher out there. Even where I'm from, that's not totally normal.

So here's my question: Who's looking out for people here? Not just looking out for the Sundered, but anyone. Where I'm from, there are people with awesome special abilities who protect civilians. They're called superheroes. But there's also all kinds of heroes who do brave and amazing things without any of that.

Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places, but I'm not seeing a lot of that here, and it's almost been a month for me. Has anyone else noticed something?

I was starting to think it was part of a big lesson, but the idea is slowly dying.

Yeah, that's a nice thought, but I think we'd know about it by now.

[She's growing increasingly upset that she doesn't have her polymorph powers anymore. She doesn't need them to do something about all of this, but it would sure make her feel more comfortable about it. She's still planning to act, though. Kamala didn't get to where she is - well, was back home - by playing it safe.]

It's hard when you want to think there's a good reason for something, but there isn't.

What can we do? It's not fair that they got us here, even if it was by accident, and then don't try to help us out in their dangerous world.

You're right, and we all have to do whatever we can. We start by helping each other out.

There's different ways for everyone to do that.

Yeah, this can be an open secret. There's a lot of reasons keeping the true identity of Ms. Marvel a secret wouldn't work here, anyway.]

Back in Jersey City, I'm one of those superheroes I mentioned. But you don't need to do anything like that to help, as long as you're there for people. Listening to someone when they're upset or even helping with their homework goes a long way, too.

I can do all that! But I can also kick butt and take names. I've been trained in self-defense and combat since I hatched. I can totally help out!

And it's good to be able to defend yourself! But I think we should focus on the less aggressive ways to help, unless we need to resort to fighting.

She trained me to able to take on everything and anything. She's a super-spy, you see, so she's seen danger everywhere. So now I kind of see danger everywhere.

[And kind of concerning, to be honest. But the last thing Kamala wants to do is overstep her bounds and do that "concern trolling" thing Zoe Zimmer always does.]

I wish you were able to completely relax here, but it looks like that's not the case.
