Quite original. Never would have thought of that myself.
Why not something with more of a traditionally occultist flavor, in Latin: daemon festum or daemonium pandemonium? Or since you're flying in the face of this world's religion, perhaps something in High Osmarius.

Pars fera.
[ Or something in High Osmarius which sounds and writes a great deal like Corsican? Crowley stretched his new language skills to come up with... ]
Festa di l'infernu demonicu.
[ Those lessons he was being forced to attend were gradually sinking in! But then he had always been good with languages. Made tempting people easier when you could actually talk to them.]
Nah! It's supposed to be a party! We don't need some snobbish name. All it needs is to tell people what it is and how many rules to break.

festa di dimoni scemi, more like.
Really, Crowley. There are students and faculty from other Magicacademies visiting this month. You could at least TRY to make this place look respectable.

Besides Angel! They already have that stuffy religious holiday coming up with the plays and chamber music... I don't see the harm in having a day where we ditch the uniforms and dance around a few flagpoles.

At least the pie fight was wholesome fun, if a waste of good pie.

Not everything! I never said we would take off everything. But jackets and ties would only get in the way. You wouldn't want anyone accidentally strangling themselves if their dance gets too wild.

What time do normal, non-goth kids, go to bed? Just for planning purposes, so we can crank things up a notch.

Anything after ten I'd say was fair game for as many notches as you were thinking about. Got something specific in mind?

[Although there were some festivals honoring the gods that could get a bit raucous in his era, it was a different pantheon than the one here]

Also, wouldn't this be better suited as an October celebration? I understand humans have claimed that as a spooky month.
no subject
Jeeze, don't you know that Oktoberfest is in September? And besides, the gods festival thing is now and the kid putting it on wouldn't go for a pole dancing competition.
So, my hands were tied really.

I am well aware when the festival traditionally starts, having attended it myself more than a few times. [Read: He forgot and is a tad cranky about being corrected.] But Oktoberfest isn't quite the Bacchanalia you two seem to think it is.
In any case, of course
ElliottEleven did not go for "pole dancing"! This is a school! Not a nightclub!Seems to me, your hands weren't tied enough.

Fair point.
We'll keep things nice and PG-13. Just murder and harmless age-appropriate flirting. Nothing juicy until the kiddles go to bed.

You don't want sad demons do you?

..But don't worry, that guy isn't here]
What I want is to restore faith to the locals here.

That's pretty cool, kid. Mad respect.
