Now that we're all getting settled in, I thought it might be nice if we introduce ourselves! So many lovely new faces, and I'm sure much has changed for those of us making a return as well.


So let's put this bulletin board to good use: Who are you?


And we should probably share a little tidbit about ourselves as well. A get-to-know each other--but nothing like those hellish corporate ice-breakers. You're absolutely not obligated to participate, of course, but it does seem like good fun, doesn't it?



I'll go first: My name is Mr. Fell; I love cocoa and long walks in the park, and I own a bookshop back home.

Hello, my dear. I wouldn't have known your writing, but it's been quite some time since last I saw it.

There are plenty here you know, but plenty more you still can introduce yourself to! Let's see. You could tell everyone about your name, or share about your familiar. I suspect everyone likes a cute familiar story. Maybe something about the classes you look forward to.

It needn't be too personal, if that's your concern.

I didn't really think you would. I rarely used the bulletin board before but I can see it's useful applications now

So- my name is a derivation of an Egyptian God, the first God actually, who created the pantheon that followed.. but the mythology gets a little weird.. [Read as embarrassing] You know what..... forget everything I just wrote. [Sure, it wasn't untrue, and pharaohs themselves were believed to share in that divinity, but how conceited did it sound to draw the parallel himself to a more modern crowd!?]

I'm still figuring out the magic of this world and above all else I enjoy spending time with friends and playing all manner of games.

Sounds like an excellent idea to me. I was planning on putting at least one word game up on the bulletin board monthly or bi-monthly but nothing beats a real face to face competition of wills
