Now that we're all getting settled in, I thought it might be nice if we introduce ourselves! So many lovely new faces, and I'm sure much has changed for those of us making a return as well.


So let's put this bulletin board to good use: Who are you?


And we should probably share a little tidbit about ourselves as well. A get-to-know each other--but nothing like those hellish corporate ice-breakers. You're absolutely not obligated to participate, of course, but it does seem like good fun, doesn't it?



I'll go first: My name is Mr. Fell; I love cocoa and long walks in the park, and I own a bookshop back home.

An honest to gosh unicorn? That's pretty cool. How'd you end up in a human body? Can you still do the wish granting thing?

I went through a portal to a human world that's...kind of like a mirror counterpart of Equestria, where I come from. The portal turns anyone who goes through it into a species that's appropriate for that world---ponies become humans, dragons become dogs, that kind of thing. And if a human goes through in the other direction, they become a pony!

And I've never granted any wishes. My magic was more...I could teleport, shield, and lift and swing things around.

Sounds neat. ... I wonder what I'd look like as a pony. Probably have a ridiculous mane. You know, just like I do now. ;)

That magic still sounds pretty impressive. So far the only thing I've learned how to do on purpose is make a bunch of colored lights.

Oh, cool hair, huh? Magic has all kinds of ways to deal with that.

And that's okay! It's important to start small and get the foundation down. Too many people around here try to start too big, and that's where half the weekly catastrophes come from.

Good to know I'm off to the right start, then, I guess. ... As far as the frequent catastrophes go, I work in 9-1-1, I get at least one a night some weeks.
