new bulletin board, who dis?

[That title is absolutely not ic or present at all ok. This angel is NOT that cool.]

Now that we're all getting settled in, I thought it might be nice if we introduce ourselves! So many lovely new faces, and I'm sure much has changed for those of us making a return as well.

So let's put this bulletin board to good use: Who are you?

And we should probably share a little tidbit about ourselves as well. A get-to-know each other--but nothing like those hellish corporate ice-breakers. You're absolutely not obligated to participate, of course, but it does seem like good fun, doesn't it?

I'll go first: My name is Mr. Fell; I love cocoa and long walks in the park, and I own a bookshop back home.

Good to hear then~

Hm. I suppose this confirms that at least something of the Lokasenna has some accuracy then though, though that's admittedly a guess.

[Bridges tend to be burned when you sling that many shots. Not to mention every other writing that ended in 'loki fix it' and then 'bye loki'.]

[Loki has to pause and think if he's heard how that myth goes--and how wrong it might've been.]

That one started as a drinking contest, wasn't nearly as serious as has been written down, and yet they still blamed me when others started it.

It starts as a drinking contest, of course it wasn't going to be that serious in reality. [That much, he can gather.]

Speaking bluntly that seemed to be a trend in the various proses; that and snatching you in to fix something as if they were owed it.

[Honestly, all things considered, Loki-in-text was being a pretty decent sport over a lot of it, and one couldn't be surprised about what happened at the end.]

Well that last part is fairly correct.

[Not that it was ever much appreciated, even when he saved lives with his trickery.]

That's a fair bit of a shame.

[Just given, the consequences. Ah, well.]

Well, congratulations again on finding yourself here- in a way this could be a vacation then~

For that matter it's been interesting to see how magic in another world functions.

That latter statement is why I plan to be a diligent and avid student. How fond are the teachers of questions, because I will have a great many of them.

Now that one varies!

The professor of Fantastics, Porsfin might be touch and go- depends very much on what you're asking and how, he's not one for traditional teaching you see. The professor of Thaumaturgy- Loshakle- meanwhile simply has a bias. It takes a good amount to get into his good graces; he's not a fan of the 'sundered'.

On the other end the professor for Intimation, Mala, is a good professor but a strict one. It could go either way for entirely different reasons there.

Over all, I think it'll be the quality of the question that determines how things go.

That is most helpful information to have. I am less concerned with good graces, so much as I am with effectively learning the material.

[The one professor sounded like a challenge. Which made Loki smile.]

[Thaumaturgy is about to become very interesting isn't it.]

Good priorities~

I have to ask- which classes are you taking?
[There's only so much time in the day, choose wisely.]

Discovery, Sundering, Thaumaturgy, along with Law, History of Wizardry, and Etiquette. Although I've applied to student teach as well.

[Yes. Yes it is, Noa.]

I'd say we'd be sharing Thaumaturgy, but I'm on my fifth semester for that so probably not. Still, it'll be interesting to hear about how things go there~

[Oh, he is definitely ready for something to go down.]

You'll be teaching?

If they approve it. Not that the one subject isn't likely to be taught anyways by necessity if it comes up. But I thought it better to give them a chance to have it be 'official' and structured instead of the mess it could be. Especially if I can get credit for it.

Considering what courses have been approved in the past, you should have a strong chance.

Which is to say my am I curious to know which subjects you applied for...

Realm Administration and Flyting.

Oh, Flyting!~

I can't say I would get much from Realm Administration by the principle of who and where I intend to be, but Flyting certainly sounds well worth it~
