Now that we're all getting settled in, I thought it might be nice if we introduce ourselves! So many lovely new faces, and I'm sure much has changed for those of us making a return as well.


So let's put this bulletin board to good use: Who are you?


And we should probably share a little tidbit about ourselves as well. A get-to-know each other--but nothing like those hellish corporate ice-breakers. You're absolutely not obligated to participate, of course, but it does seem like good fun, doesn't it?



I'll go first: My name is Mr. Fell; I love cocoa and long walks in the park, and I own a bookshop back home.

You're good; this place has a way of doing that to people. I mean, they can *tell* me I came here because of Sundering magic, but if I don't really understand it, it doesn't do me any good. I still haven't really gotten my head around it, and I've been here a while.

Then you can tell me, roughly, how difficult the classes might be to adjust to. I intend to apply myself with a vengeance.

You, in beginning classes? I wouldn't be surprised if you caught up quick--being you, that is. They might make you stay in beginning classes for a semester, but if they do it's probably a test. And you wouldn't be the only one who ever had to deal with that, so I'm going to counsel patience, even if it's difficult. Because eventually there should be a payoff.

Despite my tendency for mischief, I can be very patient indeed to get what I want. Any other counsel you wish to offer about this place?

[Sweets on Asgard were different, and he hadn't been on Midgard in situations where getting ice cream was a thing...]
