[ yugi picks up the puppy who gives him some licks. apparently he knows he's going to finding his owner soon! yugi then goes to meet orisa just outside the great hall. ]
Hey Orisa! [ he lifts up the cute little puppy. ] So yay or nay? [ he chuckles, the dog immediately jumping from his arms to rush over to her. ]
[As the puppy rushes over, Orisa picks him up with care. He immediately begins licking her face, heedless of her metallic exterior. She bursts into happy laughter, no less warm for the faint artificial vibrations in it.]
[ yugi smiles, watching her and her puppy and feeling really good that he'd been able to find who he belonged to. it was a bit weird that he kind of came out of nowhere, but that'd happened with them, right? so he should probably write it off and key an eye out for anymore sudden oddities. ]
[ he waits as she runs through whatever options she's already got in her databanks, surprised that she's already come to conclusion, but she can probably think and process information at the speed of light, so it's fine. ]
Reinhardt? Cute! Sounds like a strong, powerful name. [ he steps forward to gently boop the puppy on the nose. ] You got this little guy.
[Reinhardt barks happily at Yugi, tail furiously wagging.]
It is the name of a great Overwatch hero. I have devoted much of my processing power to analyzing his combat performance. As I have begun the pattern of naming the animals associated with me after people I admire from Earth, I will continue it with my puppy!
Overwatch hero? Sounds pretty intense. Would you mind telling me more about him? And yeah? What other animals have you named after people? [ but that was certainly a very cute trend! ]
Reinhardt was a former Crusader who joined the Overwatch organization, a global peacekeeping force originally intended to put an end to the Omnic Crisis. He wielded a barrier shield, and I studied his techniques in order to improve my combat algorithms for my barrier projector, but more importantly, he was a hero with great heart and a drive to do good. Those are traits I wish to emulate.
[As she speaks, Orisa reaches behind her back, and from a spot tucked away beneath the Drum, produces a squat toad.]
[ it’s hard not to smile when she talks about reinhardt, a man that’s clearly more than an overwatch hero, but her own. ] He sounds like an incredible guy. I’m sure if you were studying him, then you own techniques must be pretty amazing! [ he blinks when he she reaches back for the toad. ] Lucitoad? Cute!
It's still really cute. My familiar came with a name, so I didn't get a chance to name him, but I probably would have done something similar - named them after friends.
I do. His name is Peregrin and he takes the form of three dice and when I roll them, depending on what appears on the die faces, he turns into that combination!
How remarkable! That is strange indeed. He must be a very valuable partner and companion to you.
[Lucitoad and the puppy, meanwhile, are having something of a staring contest, as each works to reconcile the appearance of a strange-looking rival on the scene.]
I am very glad to see him too. How strange that he showed up where you are! [Doesn't that imply the connection between person and home is relatively weak?]

[Wasting no time, Orisa leaves the bulletin board behind to head thataway at what amounts to a jog.]

[Orisa shifted, lowering her body to the ground as she tucked her arm across her chest to cradle the puppy.]
I did not have him for very long before I came here.

I'm glad he's here now then, and you two can enjoy each others company once again.

[Which is a fairly quick process, and includes further data since she has come here. Her eyeshields narrow, rotate, then pop open again.]
I shall name him 'Reinhardt'!

[ he looks down at the two familiars and chuckles. ] Looks like they're getting used to each other. I'm glad I could help reunite you guys.
