I'm pretty sure it's not possible in most realities, but in the same way, it was possible to have someone temporarily uploaded there, without removing connection to the body- the body of course would still house their mind, soul...in that case, you still have capacity for emotion.
But yes, I was quite...hm. Well honestly I'd just finished accepting death when I found myself here so it took a bit before actually appreciating it kicked in. But I'm quite glad to be here in a non-digital world yes!
